Press kit
Something has been calling from beneath the ice for 31 years.
A short incremental game about a probe diving after that signal. Ping the sonar, collect echoes, upgrade, and go deeper each dive until the pressure forces you back up. About four hours, with a real ending.
You control a probe sent through a hole in the ice. Each dive you ping the sonar, collect the echoes it reveals and spend the data on upgrades. The pressure always wins in the end: you surface, spend what you found at the base, and dive again a little deeper. Somewhere below, a signal keeps calling.
ABISAL is short on purpose. It has no offline progress and no endless grind: the game only runs while you play it, and it ends.
The graphics, the text (English and Spanish) and the code of ABISAL were generated with AI tools under my direction. I design, playtest and balance the game, with an automated balance simulator behind the pacing.
Videos and streams of ABISAL are welcome, including monetized ones. The music is original to the game, so it should not trigger copyright claims.
Keys for the full game are free for creators: write to [email protected] and say where you publish.
One request: the end of the dive is the game's surprise. Please keep the ending out of thumbnails and titles.
All images are taken from the real game in English. Click an image to see it full size; right-click (or long-press) any image or video to save it.
